The awareness project carried out in collaboration between SILEA and Nameless Festival during the 2024 edition had a significant impact in promoting environmental awareness among young participants.
The initiative used a light and engaging approach to educate the audience about the importance of waste management and respect for the environment.
A dedicated space was created inside the festival: a bridge where two basketball shooting stations were installed. These stations were equipped with two large net containers designed to collect the cans thrown by participants as they tried to score. The game involved a two-person challenge in which players attempted to throw as many cans as possible into the basket.
Each can that made it into the basket was symbolically associated with proper waste disposal and awarded a point to the shooter. The winner of each round received a prize, further encouraging participation and engagement.
The project proved particularly effective in reaching the festival audience, encouraging greater environmental awareness through an engaging game experience.
Using fun as an educational tool made it possible to communicate important messages about sustainability and environmental responsibility in an effective way.
